Right after the release of their critically lauded debut album, Maudits are back with a new EP titled "Angle Mort" on Klonosphere records. COVID-19 and three confinements freed up spare time to work on new music whilst social distancing. Thus the quick arrival of a brand new record.

The recording consists of two new compositions and three reworked, restructured and re-recorded songs originally found on the first album. With Henosis Studio taking care once again of the mixing and mastering, Maudits' vision was clear from the get-go. To create new material and reinterpret some old songs. These "said" old songs have been so altered that they could in fact be considered new ones.

The whole recording is enriched with trip-hop and dub soundscapes. Raphaël Verguin's haunted cello adds an extra layer of sonic pleasure.

This "confined" album reasserts Maudits' quest of liberty and their insatiable need to explore the realms of their musical world.
